On February 17, 2023 Bishop Shane issued new guidance on masking for the Diocese. As such, effective immediately:

1. Subject to the exceptions below, masking at St. Matthew's will be optional. Parishioners are asked to stay home if they feel sick - regardless of whether they have tested positive for Covid.
2. St. Matthew's will maintain the protected pews at the front of the nave for those who wish to use this space. Those seated in the safe zone must wear masks.
3. Communion servers and assistants must be masked when distributing communion.
4. St. Matthew's will continue to offer masks to anyone entering the church should they want one.
5. These rules also apply to the chapel.

Please screen yourself for COVID-19 symptoms before coming to the church for services or other purposes. Please do not come to church if you have any symptoms.
