Visit us

Please screen yourself for COVID-19 symptoms before coming to the church. Do not come to church if you have any symptoms.

Please wear a medical grade or N95 facemask during your visit.

We are located in the heart of the Glebe in Ottawa, Ontario. St. Matthew's spans an entire block and has two street addresses:

• 130 Glebe Avenue
• 217 First Avenue

For:

• church services
• concerts
• Open Doors
• most special events

Use the church front doors at 130 Glebe Avenue.

For:

• administration offices
• Treasures Boutique
• church hall
• most non-church service activities

Use the door at 217 First Avenue.

Both entrances are less than a block west of Bank Street.

 

Take the bus!

OC Transpo routes 6, 7 and 56 will drop you off within a block of the church. Consult OC Transpo schedules and maps to plan your trip.

 

Car and accessible parking, and bicycle parking

Most of Glebe Avenue, and First Avenue, allow for two hours free street parking 7 days a week. Please confirm with street signage before leaving your car. Street parking is free on Sunday on Bank Street.

A limited number of free parking spaces are available in the parking lot between the church and the townhouses just west of Bank Street. Note these parking spaces are reserved for paid tenants Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM. Please do not park in these spaces during these times.

Two signed accessible parking spots are available in the church lot. The ramp to the church is located at the accessible parking spots. There is elevator access to the lower level of the church. Please call us if you have any questions about the church’s accessibility.

Our bike rack is located outside the door at 217 First Avenue.
